According to today’s left, the answer is yes: Barack Obama is America. And opposition to Barack Obama or any of his policies is therefore, by definition, anti-American.

In reading the article I notice a single case of someone getting called a traitor. This was delivered by a comedian.
As a child forced into Sunday school, I always was puzzled over the imagery of taking a splinter out of someone else's eye while ignoring the bean in one's own. ("How do you get a beam in your eye?", I wondered in my overly-literal way.)
Since I started following political blogs and watching the bizarre behavior of Republicans, the whole splinter-vs.-beam thing is only now starting to make sense to me.
